The Role

We are seeking an experienced Montessori teacher for a 6-9 class. In this role, you will be part of a team of 4 enthusiastic and dedicated Montessori teachers. You will assist our team in delivering the curriculum in a Montessori environment within a state setting.  This includes fostering a strong sense of community and celebrating our individuality within the wider community.

Requirements

To apply for this position you must :

·         Have a recognized teaching qualification

·         Have Montessori 6-12 training

·         Must be an experienced, visionary Montessori teacher. 

·         Possess enthusiasm, passion and exceptional people skills and work well as part of a team

·         Enjoy a dynamic, challenging role where flexibility is a necessity

Condition of employment will be that the applicant has NZ registration before commencing the position and have a relevant valid work visa or NZ residency.  Commencement for this position is negotiable for 2011.

The Environment

Our school comprises of two 6-9 spaces and one 9-12 space.  We are integrated into a state primary school, conveniently located on the shores of Auckland’s Eastern Suburbs.  This is a unique opportunity to work surrounded by sea views and lush green nature reserves.
